Meet Dawn Hyde
Dawn Hyde is the Treasurer and Events Coordinator for Comicare. She is the co-founder of the organization. Dawn grew up in Glendale, Arizona, on the outside of comic book culture. She married into a family of ‘nerds’ and received a crash course on all things comic book, video game and Star Wars. {how do you feel about charity –past charity experience}. A career in the banking and administrative field prepared Dawn for her position as the Treasurer of Comicare. She also deals with many of the administrative aspects including legal filings, procedural forms, scheduling and bookkeeping.
Dawn is a third generation Arizona native where she lives with her husband and four children.
We strive to brighten the day of hospitalized children by delivering comic books and visiting superheroes. We operate mostly in Arizona with occasional trips to neighboring states in the Southwestern U.S.
